Rosacea is defined as a “chronic inflammatory skin disorder typically involving the nose, forehead, and chin that is characterized especially by redness, flushing, telangiectasia, inflamed lesions, and burning sensation, and sometimes by eye dryness and irritation and thickening of tissues especially of the nose.”
There are current studies which shows that rosacea is connected with our gut status, specifically SIBO. In this video, Dr. DiNezza will run down the different theories on how can SIBO cause rosacea and how rosacea can cause SIBO.
