Parasite is an organism that lives in or on an organism of another species (its host) and benefits by deriving nutrients at the other’s expense. They can get into our body in so many ways – contaminated water, food, waste, soil, and blood, can be transferred by insects or people.
The two major kinds of parasites that can be found in our digestive system are stomach and gut worms (threadworm, hookworm) and protozoa (Giardia).
In this video, Amy and Dr. DiNezza, they discuss parasite testing, what happens in our gut when we have parasite and parasite treatment as observed from their clients.
